Hi I'm Christian, I'm 20, and I'm from Boston, MA.
I've been called crazy on my good days, and you don't want to see me on my bad days. I'm a total nerd and I'm always willing to start talking to new people. I'm in no way shape or form an artist so forgive my lack of artsy-ness (if that's even a word) though I am a sucker for music and have been playing cello for a decade now =] I'm just posting my thoughts and such on here so don't mind me. If you like what I have to say, please follow me, if not, that's fine too =]

THESE ARE THE REASONS WHY SPACEX IS MY DREAM JOB. HOLY. FUCKING. CHRIST
This is literally my mantra when I feel upset
Sums up my views on the universe pretty well
As I note before I start: I respect any and all religious beliefs, and this is no way shape or form an attack on ANY of them, this is simply how I feel.
So I’ve been thinking about it, and I think I can finally explain eloquently the reason I consider myself a non-theist.
So, I consider myself a believer in every aspect of science, both in it’s laws and theories, but also what it stands for. It is man’s endeavor for truth and meaning in the universe. A lot of people have given me shit for this view in the past, whether it be a personal belief in a higher power, or just an inability how I can believe in such a pessimistic fate.
As I note before I start: I respect any and all religious beliefs, and this is no way shape or form an attack on ANY of them, this is simply how I feel.
What needs to be understood is that my view of the universe is the opposite of pessimism. In fact, I find it to be the least pessimistic world view imaginable (but that is just me). Literally, I am connected to EVERYTHING in the universe on a fundamental level. Everything I’ve ever touched, used, ingested, inhaled, or seen, has been a part of me, and I it at the moment of the Big Bang. Even the things I have not experienced in any way and will not experience has been a part of me at one point. We are what happens when you give pure energy 14 billion years.
We, as humans on planet earth, are fundamentally made from the same explosion that not only created our planet but the sun and likely all the other planets. As an organism, I share the same fundamental ancestor as every other living thing on planet earth.
This fundamental connection fills me with so much more awe and wonder than any belief in a higher power has ever given me. I am a collection of up quarks, down quarks, and electrons that against so many odds has come together with a unique genome and sentience, both separate and one with the universe.
As for after I die. I look forward to death. This isn’t to say that don’t I love life, but my body has been on an amazing adventure leading to who I am now. I have been part of the big bang, part of a star, a super nova, and countless compounds and organisms before coming to this form. Who is to say what kind of amazing journey I will go on after death, I bet I’ll see the stars, new worlds, the universe.
These are my beliefs as of now, and who knows how they will change in the future, all I know is that at the end of the day, this is what I know to be true and gives me both comfort and awe.
SO TRUE
